Subscription gives you access to additional benefits features and personalization options: you'll be able to cast votes and submit user reviews, take advantage of the Watchlist feature, play games, do the activities, personalize film access and customize your site preferences.

Registration is free of charge and requires you to provide a valid e-mail address.
Subscription to School Cinema is charged and provides complete access to all features.

If you already have an account with Facebook or Google, you can also register/login on using those credentials.

Please see our Privacy Policy if you are worried about giving out your e-mail address.

When you register for School Cinema, you're required to enter a valid, active e-mail address. Our automated server then sends to this address an activation e-mail with a special link, which you need to use to activate your School Cinema registration.

This step is necessary to ensure that a valid e-mail address is provided and to verify that the person registering for School Cinema is the actual owner of that e-mail address.

Here are some helpful hints if you don't immediately get your activation e-mail:

  • Be Patient: though most activation e-mails are sent and delivered immediately, delays can happen. You should allow at least a couple of hours.
  • Double-check your address: the activation link is sent to the e-mail address you provided. If you typed your address incorrectly, our activation e-mail will never reach you.
  • Check your anti-spam filters: if you or your e-mail provider have activated some kind of anti-spam filter to discard junk mail, our activation mail may have been trapped as a result. If you're using anti-spam programs, which stop incoming e-mail from being delivered unless the sender manually clicks on the link provided in an automated reply, our activation link may have been stopped as a result.

Please also make sure you explicitly allow incoming messages from these two email addresses:

    do-not-reply@School Cinema
    do-not-reply-here@School Cinema

If possible, you should also add our domain name @School Cinema to your spam filter's list of trusted/allowed mail domains.

Our activation message includes a unique code but the actual link is generated by your e-mail program (which reads the URL in the e-mail and creates a clickable link, launching your Internet browser).

Some e-mail clients have trouble building the link when the URL is very long and may truncate it (cut it off) after a certain number of characters. If you get an 'invalid code' error message, please cut and paste the link from our e-mail into a new browser window instead of clicking directly on the link from inside your e-mail program.

Watching videos on School Cinema :

We are constantly expanding our library of films for parents, teachers, and students. You can browse our video directory for complete listings of your favourite films, trailers & independent shorts and access a wide range of content across School Cinema.

When a title has video available for viewing based on your subscription packages, it will have a 'Watch It' button on the page (under the poster/cover image) and/or one or more video thumbnails in the middle of the screen linking to specific content (e.g. "Full Movie", "Trailer", "Clip" etc.). You can begin to play the video by clicking on the video thumbnail or 'Watch It' button.

If you do not see a video player, you may not have the Adobe Flash plugin installed on your computer. Version 9.0 or higher of the Flash plugin is required to watch videos on School Cinema. The Flash plugin is available for all major browsers and can be downloaded free of charge here.

If you have Flash 9+ installed on your computer and you still cannot see a video player, you may have installed Flash blocking or ad blocking software which prevents you from seeing this Flash video. To see the video, you will need to disable your blocking software on School Cinema.
