Subscription gives you access to additional benefits features and personalization options: you'll be able to cast votes and submit user reviews, take advantage of the Watchlist feature, play games, do the activities, personalize film access and customize your site preferences.
If you already have an account with Facebook or Google, you can also register/login on using those credentials.
When you register for School Cinema, you're required to enter a valid, active e-mail address. Our automated server then sends to this address an activation e-mail with a special link, which you need to use to activate your School Cinema registration.
This step is necessary to ensure that a valid e-mail address is provided and to verify that the person registering for School Cinema is the actual owner of that e-mail address.
Here are some helpful hints if you don't immediately get your activation e-mail:
Please also make sure you explicitly allow incoming messages from these two email addresses:
If possible, you should also add our domain name @School Cinema to your spam filter's list of trusted/allowed mail domains.
Our activation message includes a unique code but the actual link is generated by your e-mail program (which reads the URL in the e-mail and creates a clickable link, launching your Internet browser).
Some e-mail clients have trouble building the link when the URL is very long and may truncate it (cut it off) after a certain number of characters. If you get an 'invalid code' error message, please cut and paste the link from our e-mail into a new browser window instead of clicking directly on the link from inside your e-mail program.
If your browser is configured to reject cookies, you may still access and search School Cinema but you won't be able to use any of the personalized features reserved to registered users. To make sure cookies are enabled, you need to check your browser configuration (options for cookies can usually be found under the Security or Advanced configuration section)
If you have forgotten your password, you can have a special link to reset your password e-mailed to you by visiting our forgotten password page and entering the same e-mail address you used to sign up for School Cinema.
Are you sure you want to cancel? Being an School Cinema registered user is free of charge and entitles you to several benefits and there are no fees or obligations unless you opt for the subscription.
The reason we're asking is that occasionally people confuse our free School Cinema site with our subscription-based access, and try to cancel their free School Cinema account when what they really want to do is cancel their paid subscription to School CinemaPro.com. We just want to make sure you're not cancelling the wrong membership by mistake.
Please also note that if you have a subscription to School CinemaPro.com and wish to maintain it, you should NOT cancel your School Cinema registration. Cancelling your School Cinema account will make your School CinemaPro.com subscription inaccessible!
If you want to cancel your free trial or paid membership to School CinemaPro.com without losing your free School Cinema registration, please get in touch with email@example.com
If, after reading the above, you are sure you still want to cancel your free registration to School Cinema please go to our Delete Account page. Please note that this action will delete all your customized preferences, including your history, Watchlist, user profile information and avatar, and it cannot be reversed.
We are constantly expanding our library of films for parents, teachers, and students. You can browse our video directory for complete listings of your favourite films, trailers & independent shorts and access a wide range of content across School Cinema.
When a title has video available for viewing based on your subscription packages, it will have a 'Watch It' button on the page (under the poster/cover image) and/or one or more video thumbnails in the middle of the screen linking to specific content (e.g. "Full Movie", "Trailer", "Clip" etc.). You can begin to play the video by clicking on the video thumbnail or 'Watch It' button.
If you do not see a video player, you may not have the Adobe Flash plugin installed on your computer. Version 9.0 or higher of the Flash plugin is required to watch videos on School Cinema. The Flash plugin is available for all major browsers and can be downloaded free of charge here.
If you have Flash 9+ installed on your computer and you still cannot see a video player, you may have installed Flash blocking or ad blocking software which prevents you from seeing this Flash video. To see the video, you will need to disable your blocking software on School Cinema.
